Those lost years of Jesus, He was blowing his horn. All over Nazareth, and places far beyond.
Now nobody knew what Jesus was playing. Jesus He helped a lot of people, and touched a lot of souls in the places, where they needed it the most.
Well, Jesus got e all moving in the right direction. Headed for the Pearly Gates. Nobody knew what Jesus was playing, when Jesus blew his horn.
Nobody knew what Jesus was playing, When Jesus blew his horn, when Jesus blew his horn. Nobody knew what Jesus was playing.
A little bit of Soul, a little bit of Rhythm and Blues, a little bit Country a little bit Jazz, a little bit of World Music, too
Nobody knew what Jesus was playing, when Jesus blew his horn. Nobody knew what Jesus was playing, When Jesus blew his horn. Nobody knew what Jesus was playing, when Jesus blew his horn.
Let me Born Again
Dear Lord, you gave me love when I was down and out. In Your Light there were no shadows of doubt. But, I turned my back until I hit the rock Now I'm praying in the night.
Yes, here I am on the dark side missing you, opening my heart, want you please come in.
Yes, here I am on the dark side asking you Sweet Jesus; give me your light let me born again. Fill me with love; let me be born again.
For years I've been lost and empty inside. In worldly pleasures I would hide, and through the walls of my pride I was blind. But, now I only want to see Your Light Shine.
Yes, here I am on the dark side missing you, opening my heart, want you please come in. Yes, here I' am on the dark side missing you Sweet Jesus; give me your light Let me born again. Fill me with love; let me be born again. Fill me with love; let me born again.
James PorterfieldHey James! Thank you for posting these songs! I think that you need a better recording of "Nobody Knew What Jesus Was Playing" but I like the message and feel there is something there, just need it presented in a better way I think... I REALLY like "Let Me Be Born Again!" Very strong. And a great message. Sorrow and hope rolled into the lyric in melody in a way that I think can really speak to people. Not to over hype, but it did remind me a little bit of Graham Parsons or early Grateful Dead. Maybe even something Johnny Cash might have done. 6 years ago
James C. TaylorWell, I don't know where my comments are flying off to in an instant. Amazing compliment of Born Again. How can I get this song published. No chains bind it. Sincerely, Jim6 years ago
