Two cords wound together are much stronger and can stand the strain, two cords wound together.  Like two hearts entwined like yours and mine can stand the strain when the cold winds blow, the wind of change.  Oh, two hearts entwined like yours and mine stand the strain.

And in happy times, we’ve got peace of mind.  When the sun shines, we can laugh and play.  Oh, like two cords wound together, when the cold winds blow, the wind of change, we can stand the strain.

Two hearts entwined like yours and mine we can stand the strain, and not break.  Two hearts entwined like yours and mine, stronger together.  Oh, Stronger, so much stronger.  Two hearts entwined like yours and mine so much stronger, oh, together.
